The Defeat

she walked a path
not seeing nor hearing
free in her own world of solitude
she could not careless
lead a by moonlight's trail
danced she did by the beat
created by the gush of wind
poise and glameour was seen
limit was inexistent for her
for she did what she did best
pronounced was her smile
she felt herself she was
with no hindrance to bear
she shouted her heart out
returned silence by the night
exactly what she hoped for
a light seemed to break
embraced the horizon it did
it begun to chase after her
she ran, with fear and might
blistered her feet were
but she could not stop
not when she is utmost happy
she could do nothing but flee
the wind begun to blow hard
the beat was gone
chaos took over her privacy
but she kept on running to nowhere
it caught up with her
she lost the battle
sobs were all that could be heard
for the her paradise became hell
she sat there like a child
wiping tears off her eyes
she faced and lived life anew
accept was her only choice
but deep inside her memories
forget she will not
the place that brought her joy
until the end of time
